864 Households Applied For HDB Loan Deferments From April To August 2020: MND
The Housing and Development Board has supported approximately 2,500 residentials with their Housing and Development Board loan repayments starting Apr to August 2020, revealed the Ministry of National Development in Parliament on 14 Oct.
Of these, 864 residentials preferred to defer their financial loan pay outs, whereas 277 lowered their financial loan repayments.
Ministry of National Development made the statement in response to Member of the Parliament Ng Ling Ling, who inquired on the amount of appeal for deferments of Housing and Development Board credit expense were gotten by HDB from day one of the CB period in addition to the proportion of the accredited inquiries.
“Housing and Development Board renders one-to-one monetary counselling to house owners looking for support with their HDB financial loan expenses to figure out their requirements, furthermore identify practical procedures to assist these people,” explained MND.
It marked that the support means constitute helping citizens to delay or cut down on home loan installments or even lengthen their home loan period subject particular age limits.
“As the personal economic counselling is holistic, we do not have records on the number of homes that asked for especially to delay their funding expenses,” MND shared.
